Low Life Rich Kids

Low Life Rich Kids - that's the name of the brand-new band project around Mara Romei, Coco Brell and Bernhard Eder, created during theatre rehearsals for the play "Über Nacht" at the Burgtheater. After the debut single "Angst", which instantly entered the Radio FM4 charts and climbed to number 3 there, one thing became clear to them immediately: "We want more!"

"Angst" hits the nerve of the time like probably no other song at the moment. With a recitative of lines of thought - which probably don't only occupy young people in their coming of age - this song immediately grabs hold of your ears. Somewhere between post-punk and NDW.

Now comes the next prank.
With the single "Paralysiert", the Low Life Rich Kids want to pick up where they left off - but show a more melodic - perhaps even more musical - side. The vocals? Two voices. The rhythm? More playful. The overall package? Even more driving and pulsating. "Paralysiert" describes the mental and nervous standstill that comes with living in these times - packed with sad news, climate crisis, social media - and the eternally-going-on-more-and-better.
"Paralysiert" by Low Life Rich Kids was released on 22.09. via the Viennese indie label LasVegas Records, an EP is expected in spring 2024.
